 The recent Survivor All-Stars and Survivor Pearl Islands television series depicted Panama as a country deep in history and culture. It is also home to a thriving cosmopolitan international banking (over 100) center and the second largest Free Trade Zone in the world. Be it related to sociological, health, business, alternative, or recreational tourism, Panama has it all!
 
Panama boasts 1st world roads, business services, medical care, and telecommunications infrastructure. It has the same safety rating as the United States according to the Pinkerton Intelligence Agency.

Q: Can I drink the water?
Yes, you can drink the water.  It is not only safe to drink the tap water throughout Panama, but also it is considered to be some of the best in the world. The government mandates that the drinking water supply is regularly checked to ensure that it meets World Health Organization.
Q: What languages are spoken in Panama?
Primarily Spanish is spoken with English as a second language.
Q: What is the currency?
The currency is the US dollar, even while locals refer to it as the "Balboa”.

Q: Is the fishing seasonal?
There is great fishing year round, but some species are seasonal. Panama is recognized as a premier fishing destination.
Year around: Amberjack, Cubera Snapper, Pacific Sailfish, Roosterfish/Pez gallo and Grouper.
Winter-Spring: Big eye Tuna, Yellow fin Tuna, Wahoo, Blue fin Trevally and Dolphin/Dorado/Mahi Mahi.

Q: Is there any nightlife in Pedasi and/or Azuero?
In Chitre, which is an hour from Pedasi there is a Bar and Casino.  

Q: What are the procedures on Tipping?
Tipping is not mandatory, but we recommend that if guests want to tip, that they tip 10% of the total in restaurants.  For helpers in supermarkets you can tip US$1.00. For those who clean your hotel room you can tip US$ 1.00 per day.
